The Official Website of National Cancer Survivors Day

A Special Thank-You to Our Supporters

Thursday, July 10, 2014

On Sunday, June 1, thousands of people around the world gathered to commemorate National Cancer Survivors Day 2014. NCSD is the day each year set aside to recognize those who are living with a history of cancer. Hundreds of communities across the nation – and around the globe – came together to celebrate life and to show the world that life after a cancer diagnosis can be exciting, fulfilling, and inspiring.

Today, we want to take a minute to thank the sponsors who helped make NCSD 2014 happen through their generous financial contributions. Hats off to Amgen, Astellas, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Coping with Cancer magazine, Genentech, Millennium: The Takeda Oncology Company, and Teva Oncology for their support. Without their generosity, National Cancer Survivors Day would not be what it is today.

Though NCSD is just one day set aside to celebrate life after cancer, we hope you take some time every day to savor life. Life may be messy and complicated and unpredictable at times, but it can also be beautiful, meaningful, and inspiring. And that's something to celebrate!
