Laptop and Desktop field service and troubleshooting repairing and replacing parts/FRU (Field Replaceable Units) and manufacturer recalls (i.e. motherboards, hard drives, sound and video cards, and peripherals) for Dell, IBM, HP models and many others.

Network Support / Computer Support Technician Rate/Hr: $25

Network responsibilities included complete organization and restructuring of Star topology network. Working with the new Category 5, and Fiber Optic cabling draws for horizontal cabling and wall drops. Installation of RJ-45 wall jacks which terminated cables draws which connected to the network closet. The network closet consisted of a horizontal cross connecting patch panel for termination of incoming cable draws, a network rack system including network equipment, and a Panduit cable management system. I was responsible for the design and support of the enterprise network with multiple network operating systems running in tandem.

Administrative duties included the centralized management of all user accounts, network security rights, and email and internet connectivity.
