Major Accomplishments:

While at the Department of Education, several Local Instructional Superintendents asked me to assist with the “C-30 process,” for the appointment of Principals to public schools. This detail-oriented task involved composing e-mail correspondence to Level 1 Committee members and candidates, making follow-up calls, completing forms for Human Resources and preparing packets for committee orientations. All of this was in addition to my regular responsibilities. With the appointment of each new principal, my involvement in the C-30 process has proven to be both useful and rewarding to me.

Additionally, I have nearly completed two sets of memoirs in my free time, and three separate chapters have been published in a Scottish magazine. I have enjoyed working with writers and have been described as a “master editor.”
